Meet Casey Eves
Class A General Contractor, Commonwealth of Virginia, Certified Kitchen Designer
Casey Eves Design + Build began in 2017 and has grown steadily since — one kitchen at a time, in Charlottesville and Albemarle.
Kitchen design and general contracting are usually two different people with two different priorities. Holding both licenses means the plan and the build are decided together, by someone who knows what a drawing has to survive in the field and leads a team dedicated to achieving the same quality standards.
Built around who actually calls
Nearly everyone who reaches out to us is a woman. That has shaped the firm more than anything else. It's a woman-led practice with a woman general contractor, which in this industry is still unusual enough that clients bring it up.
What they tell us is that they're listened to. Questions get answered rather than deflected, decisions are explained rather than assumed, and nobody talks past them to a spouse. Renovating a kitchen means a stranger in your house for weeks — who that person is matters.
Casey runs Casey Eves Design + Build and Rift & Quarter, our custom cabinetry company.
She's a mom to two ACPS kids and stays active in the community advocating for the building industry. Her free time goes to cycling, yoga, and travel.
Why kitchens only
We've spent over a decade in one room — drawing it, specifying it, and building it. That focus is why the estimate holds and the schedule holds.
No bathrooms. No additions. No new construction.
Why we build our own cabinetry
Because designing inside a manufacturer's catalog means compromising the plan to fit the product. Owning the cabinetry means the drawing comes first. More on cabinetry →
One project at a time
Deliberate, not a limitation. It's what makes single-point accountability possible rather than aspirational.
